The living tradition of the Andes region speaks about Wiracocha, the supreme creator of the universe, who revealed to men his divine will and thought. When we can live life as a miraculous expression of the divine in every moment, we begin to understand the true significance of our existence and become capable of transforming ourselves into beings of light, illapa runas.

The Incas called this knowledge Pachacuteq, return to divine origin. Pachacuteq is a state of consciousness that governs a way of life in harmony with ourselves, the planet and the cosmos.  In the Andean cosmology all action is sacred and must be in harmony with Universal Law and in a relationship of ayni, reciprocity, with our mother earth, Pacha Mama.

This apprenticeship is designed to re-awaken another way of living in each person. A true understanding of harmony begins with-in ourselves. Once we find this balance, we can construct our energy bodies. With this we are able to relate to other energies that exist in the world. We conclude this apprenticeship using ceremony and rituals to reawaken the many sources of knowledge.

"The shaman perceives a world of total aliveness, in all parts personal, in all parts sentient, in all parts capable of being known and being used. This pan-animism yields to the practicing shaman its powers and principalities, and these in turn can be used for healing, for renewal, and for bringing into the profane world the transformational powers of sacred time and space." -Jean Houston
It all begins with reawakening the divine within.
Calendar Apprenticeship Description
"Being immersed in the spirit of don Theo Paredes was an experience of innocence and empowerment. I was fortunate to attend one of his many energetic workshops in Park City, Utah. The workshop room became a spiritual cocoon and I felt warm and nurtured. As don Theo gently lead us through a series of breath and movement experiences, I began to experience new resources and capabilities and I was smiling inside and out. That smile, which began several months ago, is still present and wonderful. I thank the Poqen Kanchay Foundation for birthing those moments of divine enpowerment."
