The investigation and adding a value to the archeological site of the historical Kantupata Sanctuary of Machupicchu represents a historic legacy of the development of an adjoining society which is fundamental for the search of a true cultural identity , for this it contemplates the claenliness and vegetation cut that covers the arqueological site for its adding value and preventive conservation of the structures or archeological materials recovered in the archeological exploitation charts.

Project objective:

1. Investigation and adding value of the archeological Kantupata site.
2. To elaborate satélite maps in order to investigate them.
3. integrar este importante complejo arqueológico a los existentes en el camino inca que hoy en día aportan importantes divisas para la región y el país.

Located between the LS 13 11 45  LW 72 33 50, between the 3380 to 3478 meters above sea level, aproximately 8kms from Machupicchu, the Inca Trail, inside the rute that joins the archeological sites of Phuyupatamarka, Intipata and  Wiñay Wayna, district of Machu Picchu, Urubamba province, in Cusco Peru.
