Quechua dialect word meaning "where light germinates ” is a unique centre located in Cusco-Peru (the navel of the world).
The aim of the foundation is to rescue, investigate and disseminate the ancient knowledge of the society that culminated with the Incas.
The Inca society was in essence a way of life based on the laws of nature, what they called harmony. Based on the concept that divine spirit is within everything and everyone, the Incas reached harmony sharing this gift with others.

This action of reciprocity was called AYNI. With the true conviction to help others they discovered how to approach life from another point of view. The AYNI is the basis of the Poqen Kanchay foundation.

Poqen Kanchay is a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization. We are a group of anthropologists,
archaeologists, farmers, local healers and other members who share the rediscovery of the ancient South American culture that culminated with the Incas. This common goal began 20 years ago and
continues until today.

The Poqen Kanchay Foundation is constantly researching and keeping track of the wise knowledge of our ancient Peruvians indigenous, united in a massive effort to preserve these beautiful stories and lessons.
The Poqen Kanchay Foundation works with local communities (indigenous) and is aimed to support them using the knowledge that the ancient Peruvians have left us. Poqen Kanchay includes visits to the field and also joint work to learn with the same local villagers.

These visits emphasize the mystical aspect of the Andean culture and sacred sites of the Incas as well as the courses and seminars in North and Latin America, furthermore the submissions in electronic format lectures at universities, colleges and high schools in America.
